In April 2012 in the city of Brotherly Love, Butter Shades was born with a goal to create very affordable, well manufactured, personal sunglasses. The company (who just celebrated their first year anniversary) creates “Wayfarer” style custom sunglasses that come in various colors and designs. Butter Shades also donates a portion of its sales to various non-profit organizations. Starting with just a few organizations in Philly, Butter Shades has expanded its reach further outside of the city to include DC-based Causetown.
