As we’ve all probably noticed, street art is becoming more prominent in all major cities. As an art fanatic this makes me very happy; after all, without amazing street art us bloggers would have no beautiful murals to pose in front of. This is obviously not a new trend but it is becoming more appreciated. It’s also not being covered up by angry business owners; some business owners are actually paying for this. 

There is an incredible amount of street artists in Chicago but I have narrowed it down to the top five that are taking over Chicago walls.

With the moto “Loves beers. Hates Careers” we can’t expect anything but fun from this artist. The work of Mosher can be spotted instantly with the beautiful bright colors that are often featured in the artists’ art. Website

Chicago suburb born and based painter is the genius because Lie. The artists mixes traditional painting techniques and spray paint to create his beautiful work. Website

Artist/ Skateboarder Erik Lundquist has a very distinct style which looks rough yet clean at the same time. His walls often feature a plethora of various designs with their very own individually amazing qualities.  Website

Hebru Brantley is taking over the walls in Chicago and many other surfaces. Brantley’s contemporary style often features youthful characters. The work of Brantley has been recognized by many publications and collaborated with brands like Nike and Adidas. Website
